This number has call my cell phone 3 times now asks for John David. Says they are from Chase Bank. I have told them they have the wrong number and not to call back but it does no good.

Bunch of towel heads keep calling looking for money. I have no credit cards and no debt. They are a scam. I am going to hunt them down and eat them.

Call Asking For kim or maybe ken hard to understand they were foreign possibly from India. Call back several times with different people.

They call anywhere from 3 to 15 times a day. Sat, Sunday, Monday, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri... Eveyday of the week. They start at 8 am and don't stop until 8:30 pm. How do you get these people to stop calling. Who are these people???? It says OUT OF AREA and no one is there when you answer the phone.

This number calls repeatedly.  If you answer they claim to be Chase bank.  We do not have ANY accounts with Chase.  They insist we do, and keep calling.

If we ever thought about choosing another bank, we would NEVER consider Chase.  What a sleazy operation to harass people this way!!

I want to have their address

Calls 15 times a day and sent a letter stating that they won't stop calling until full payment is received.  Reported it to the Federal Government  Chase

Call two or three times a day.  If you answer there is no one on the other end.  If the answering machine picks up, they leave no message.

Called 2 times between 8:00 and 8:30 AM PST. Left no message. I did not answer.

Calls and ask for Michael I have told them no to call my number because no one  live here by that name.

They call my work issued cell phone several times a day, asking for someone named Thomas. I told them I am not Thomas, but they call anyway. The first time they told me they were going to record my conversation and they wanted me to answer some questions. I hung up on them. Now I just don't answer. Or I hang up.

They left 6 vm messages on this phone!

OMG they just called while I was typing this! I told them to STOP calling me.

If you do owe or do not owe them money, but want to stop ALL telephone collection calls from them, write a letter beginning with the following:

"This is my formal notice to you under 15 U.S.C. Section 1692c(c) of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act to cease all further communications with me except for the reasons specifically set forth in the federal law."

This language legally obligates them to stop calling you.

Include your account number, full name on the account, and last 4-digits of your SSN somewhere in the letter.

FAX the letter to Chase at 888-643-9628.  This is the fax number that is designated by them for all cease and desist requests.

MAIL a follow-up copy to Chase Bank, Correspondence Department, P.O. Box 15298, Wilmington Delaware, 19850-5298.

Keep a copy for your records.

The calls will stop within one or 2 business days.  

In addition, The main company is JP Morgan Company (Chase) located at 270 Park Ave, Ny, NY.  The President COO is Jamie Dimon, the card services division is located in Wilminton, DE, the calls are coming through the Elgin IL facility and the people calling are in Mumbia, India - the service provider for them is Illinois Bell Telephone-II.  Here is what else you can do, contact your local police authority, city, county and / or state police.  File a report for harassment by telephone.  Name Jamie Dimon as the offender he is responsible for the company and their actions.  Send a copy of the police report to him at the ADDRESS ABOVE REGISTERED OF COURSE, NOTIFYING HIM YOU WILL PURSUE CRIMINAL CHARGES IF THE BEHAVIOR CONTINUES.

Contact the Attorney General in your state file a complaint also with them.  If you're receiving the calls on your cell phone, contact the National Do Not Call List at 888-382-1222.  After the thirty day grace period, go online to their website at wwwdonotcalllist.com and submit the number they're calling from it will be blocked.  Also, contact your carrier they too will block the calls.

File a comlaint with the Illinois Commerce Comission who regulates Bell telephone.

These are fraudulent calls -- I have an actual account with Chase with a $0 balance, although the callers claim that I owe $9,000.  I have spoken with them at length with Chase about this, and reported it to their security and fraud division.  Unfortunately, Chase does not seem to have a system in place to stop the calls.  Do NOT give out any information over the phone.  Ignore the calls.  Other numbers from which these fraudulent calls come are:  407-771-0887 and 402-220-4351.

Same crap as above.  I get 6 calls a day to begin with, 4 are hang-up calls, 2 might answer.  They ask for someone that does not live here, they say the call is being recorded etc.  I finally yelled at them telling them you that I get these hang up calls, I swore at them saying they are sick children in the house and stop f***ing calling!  The calls increased to every 15 min that night with no answers, music on hold or hang ups.  Calls are between 8am and 9pm.  I'm getting the call screening feature.

they start calling at 8am until 8:30pm. never leave a message. they call 8-10 times a day! drives me crazy!!!

I have just recently started getting calls from this number, and of course I am not going to answer so I have no idea what they want or who they are... after reading above comments and seeing that they are chase bank I will continue to not answer the phone calls...

i have read many of these in hopes for some answers... still kinda confused.  these calls started for me yesterday and I have not answered any!  they look too suspicious with the +847! something just doesn't feel right, and obviously i'm not the only one feeling that way.  I read on one of these of the possibility of someone hacking Chase's files or them selling our info... wonder what the possibility of these is....????
don't know what to do, but a course of action needs to be taken!
they have called 8 times since yesterday, no voicemails! and i, already, have registered on the NO Calls list with my cellphone, ... but that's where i get the calls!

I've been getting these calls too.  Have not answered them.  Called AT&T who were clueless.  I'm gonna answer it next time like this, "Good Afternoon, this is Penelope with Chase Financial, how can I help you today?"
