Got a call from this number and I didn't pick up.

I received a call from this number at 7:27pm on 8/5/08. I didn't know who this was so I didn't answer it.

I GOT A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER STATING THEY WERE REPRESENTING HONDA. I CONTACTED MY LOCAL HONDA DEALERSHIP HERE IN WAYCROSS AND THEY KNEW NOTHING ABOUT IT. THESE PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO COMMIT FRAUD.

Received call on 8/6/08 in TN .  I thought the "do not call" registry was supposed to take care of these annoying calls.

Do not know who this is when call back it asks to verify my phone number at which time I hang up they called me they should know right.  I want these calls to stop.

I think the same people tried calling a couple of times but my Privacy Manager caught it. Then it shoed up Sales Dept.?? So much for the Do Not Call Registry!

2nd time i recive a call from this number, I havent answer since I dont know aynone form this area code. I called back the after a while  and recived a recording asking if i wanted to be removed from list, but I guess it hasnt happend.

Called on 08/06/08 I called this number back and an automated voice came on and asked me to verify the number I was calling from and asked if this is the number I was calling from was - - - - - - - - - -? press 1 if yes or press 2 for another number.  Hope that calls like this one will stop again.  How do they get our numbers when we are on the don't call list???   wonder it this really works. i seem to get more and more of these every time i turn around.

They called me 2day 8-11-08..I answered no1 said anything... I called the number back and it said it was a restricted number..its a norfolk virgina number...what the hell do they want..

If you call this number from a blocked number it tells you, your number anyway.  There are lots of complaints about this number if you do a google search. Call the federal trade comission at 1-800-582-0655 to file a complaint. They will only investigate if they get enough complaints.

Got a call from this number. They said they were from VISA and my account was overdrawn. If I contact them, they will waver my $60.00over balance fee.

I just got this number in my "missed calls" registry on my cell phone. I called it back and it said my phone number to me and that I should verify my phone number by pressing 1 or no by pressing 2. I just hung up.
 The recorded message was in a very broken chinese or asian dialect.
   Probably some new kind of phishing scam.

Wow this scared me some .... my Pop lives in Norfolk Va ... I get a call from a Norfolk area number that wakes me up , before I call it back I look here to find out its just Junk
I am very happy to have a site like this to tell me its a B.S. number before calling Pop and getting him all worked up over nothing

i hate this number--got called at 2pm.. same broken and stupid dialect from some lady- "that is an invalid option" no you are b***h!!!

tried to tell me that my credit cards were expiring and it was my final notice. total fraud!!

the owner of the company using 757-990-8981 should be arrested

Got a call from these people offering to help lower my credit card(s) interest rates. After I told them I could not give card information over the phone due to fraud they immediately hung up. I contacted the local Better Business Bureau of Houston to see what they could do.

Got this number from my missed calls. Decided to google it before calling it back. Good thing I did! :) Thanks for all the folks that posted their comments.
