I keep getting  MANY CALLS, including this #!!!  I'm on the DNCL also!
WHY can't there be something done about all this????? It is getting WORSE DAY BY DAY!!!!!!!!!  Why do you pay a monthly phone bill for THESE CALLS?????  I let my answering machine take all my calls!!! I too have Caller ID. I feel like a prisoner when it comes to answering my phone!!!!

These people keep calling and offering to consolidate my cc's. I have waited on the line to speak to a person at least 5 times, when I get a live person and try to question what this is about, they hang up on me.  My friend has had the same issue.

Some company is calling with a robot telling how I can lower my credit card interest rate. I pressed 9 as requested to talk to a rep, and I told him I had no debt, I wasn't interested, please take me off the list, and slam he hung up.
In the first call, I said indignantly that I was not in debt, had no debt, I was wiser than people who overspend, blah blah, and the woman was very polite even impressed with my blank cc. I didn't mind that call. I do object to hang ups and swearing.

I'm hoping beyond hope that nobody whether elderly, young, or disabled will give out their credit card number or ss number. This has got to stop. Because I can see through this scam, I'm tempted to get creative and sing a song or tell a joke.The number won't allow calls to them.

Called at approximately 1 PM 07.17.2009 - the phone actually only rang three times so I didn't have an opportunity to get to it but if I had I would not have answered.  These kinds of calls are harassment and in violation of my being on the do not call list but nothing is done when reported.  There IS criminal violation but how does one go about that when one doesn't know who is calling?  I'm reporting them AGAIN but to no avail.

We have been receiving calls from these people for days!  We have a home-based business but have listed our number on the DNCL because of these calls.  We are being hounded by this company and it is interfering with our ability to conduct our business! If we wanted to change our credit card rates we'd call our credit card company ourselves! Can't someone do something to stop this?

I answered this from this number, there was a HIGH pitched ring, and my cell phone went off with the same number, and my internet didn't work. I tried to call the police, but the lines were jammed. Even my nabors were jammed.

Good luck getting rid of this caller - I have reported them numerous times to DNC registry with no success, don't answer the calls, or hang up on the caller. They will stop calling for a month or so, and continue their harassment. I have blocked this phone number, but they will start calling using a similar phone number.

These people are Phishers; identity thieves fishing for personal infomation. They want your SS and bank info to open accounts of credit in your name. Years and thousands of dollars later, you still won't know who did it.

I work there at mga accelerrated services it's a scam big time. How can I help before I quit?

I get calls from this number all the time.  Recorded message to press 9 and lower my interest rate.  I always press 9, put the phone on speaker, then on mute and let say hello until they get tired and hang up.  I figure, why should I be the only one wasting time.

Received a call regarding lowering my credit card interest rates.  Since I have excellent credit with one credit card with an interest rate of 0%, I decided to play along.  When I asked what card she was talking about, she stated both Visa and Mastercard.  When I asked who they were representing, she hung up.  I'm looking into contacting the FCC to see if they can trace the number.

Recording offered to lower my credit card interest rate. Figured it was fraud, pressed 9 to see what would happen. It rang and rang and rang then finally went to voice mail where it said the "MAILBOX was FULL."

Caller hung up after 3rd ring. Call showed up as 407-000-4712 and "Name Unavailable." Looked at a couple other sites to find that there's some way to "trick" caller id's so that the real number doesn't come through.

I heard from friends that there's a trick that works with automated telemarketers that as soon as you pick up the phone you can repeatedly press the # sign and it will take you off their list. However, the calls that I receive end up restarting the message after the tones are completed. Perhaps I'm just getting newer telemarketing robot technology.

I also am on the Government Do Not Call Registry and double checked at the end of last week to make sure I was still there. I am, so who knows what's going on. I also do not have any credit cards at all.

First off I got these numbers calling me at all times of the day and I never answered them because I did not recognize the number. I did a search on this number (407-000-4938)and found out from sites like this that it was just span. After reading the info/comments on these numbers I decided instead of getting angry I wanted to have fun with it so this is what I did. Right on cue the called today and i answered the call with a really thick off the wall accent and said "herrowwwww" The guy on the other end  went on with his scripted speech about the great credit rates and blah blah blah and the whole time I was acting like I was really intrested in what he had to offer. This went on for about 20 minutes and then it was time for me to give him my name. I told him I was not from this country and i would have to spell my name for him. He seemed sooooooo happy because he thought that he had scored another sucker so I started to tell him what my name was. So I mumbled something that of course he asked me to spell it. I acted like I was annoyed and slowly started spelling it. At a snails pace a said ........t.h.i.s....i.s...a....b.u.l.l.s.h.i.t...c.a.l.l. and my last name is....f.r.o.m.....y.o.u.... So on his screen it would look like this *Thisisabullshitcall Fromyou. Then I asked him to read it back to me...after a few quiet seconds he started saying   "Thisisabullshitcall...and then there was a click.
So dont get mad have fun and just get even.

I got a call from 407-000-936 & I didn't answer & no mesage was left, & I'm on the do Not Call list.  what gives  Maybe if no one answered their call, we'd put em out of business.
