They called me for the third time and I answered. When I pressed 9 to talk to the operator he hung up on me because I said I want off your calling list please. This is ridiculous and an obvious scam. They need to figure out what they are up to and get them off the phone lines!
When I answered a few minutes ago, a recorded message from my 'card service' wanted to reduce my interest rate to 4.6%!!!! All I had to do was press 9 to get a live person. I just hung up. I'm wondering for all of you that pressed 9 whether that will take you to a high long distance rate that will show up on you phone bill or whether they are just trying to find someone stupid enough to give out private information to a total stranger!!
Recieved call, pressed 9 and a young lady answered. I asked here why I got the call and mentioned that I was on the National Do-Not-Call registry. I asked for her supervisor and, after a bit of time, another woman's voice came on the line and she gave me a different number to call to be removed from their list.1-800-244-8487 It was some sort of porn thing. I hung up.
At about 2:40pm I got a call from this number. I have caller ID and seeing that it didn't have a name with it, and that it had "000", I did not answer it. I refuse to pick up from unkown calls as well. From the complaints I read from above, I am as others are, glad that I didn't not pick up. Again at 4:00pm I checked the missed calls and I recieved one stating "Out of Area" and was "Unavailable". These calls are extremely annoying and need to be stopped! The funnything is.. I don't even own a credit card. Wish they would call on a cell phone, you have a better chance of having something done about it seeing how you could record the conversation...
407-00-4712 tried calling 2 times, one right after the other @12:41PM I live in North Dakota. Must be very important to try twice, NOT. Wasn't home to answer.
Against all my better instincts, I GAVE these thieves my credit card info--everything! I KNEW I shouldn't be doing that. When I asked them to explain--(after they had all my info) they hung up! Then I had to cancel all my credit cards which is a pain. The reason I doubted myself was because during the hearings on mortgages on C-Span I have heard the 'experts' saying that people will not answer their phones and are not responding to their mail questionnaires so they can't help the people whose mortgage rates are in trouble. Somehow this scam info has to get to these talking heads on C-Span so they can clarify this situation. I was stupid!
caller id = unavailable. We never recieved calls like this until we put our number on the government"s do not call list??? The government gives this list to whomever wants it. Suggestion for someone in the government...get a credit card, with small credit line, give these idiots the number, then when they use it, bust them, or are they smarter than you??? It ain't rocket science!
Yup been getting a lot of these calls too. Usually during the day when I'm not home. I happened to be home today and picked up the call (11:45 AM 3/2/09), got to the operator, asked why I received the call, got hung up on.
Checked my caller ID came acros this number, call came in @ 12:19 PM no one was home and no message was left. My question did anyone else receive a call from 201-852-8923 as well? I looked up both numbers and both seem to be scams relating to credit cards. Another strange question has anyone just recived a notice from their bank stating your debit card may have been compromised within 2 weeks of these calls?

Got a call said unknown so I didn't pick it up.IfI ever hear from them again I will use a whistle ! lol I am from Florida and these callers need to stop calling scams.Government needs to stop this some how...
Been getting calls from this number. Caller id showed it and I did not pick up, they left no message. Does anyone have resumes on Monster? Could they be getting the info from there? Just wondering...
I recieved the call which was a robo-call saying that there was nothing wrong with my account but that I could take advantage of a lower interest rate. They said to press 9 to speak with a representative.
I do not have a credit card so I knew this was bogus but I wanted to speak with a human and request they stop calling me, so I pressed 9. I was connected to a person who asked if I was wanting to take advantage of the lower rate. I started to explain that I want to be removed from their call list, but they hung up on me mid-sentence.
My father receives call from this number and no one is there or he can't understand them. Either way, they are just annoying calls he doesn't need. I have him on a do not call list but it doesn't help. He is elderly and doesn't need this hassle. I've called the number, but can't reach anybody -- not that it would help. Can't something be done with callers like this? The government/phone company need to put a stop to these type calls.
If you want to talk to the criminals involved in these scams, call them at 813-418-5811. Or stop by the crooks' office at 8413 Laurel Fair Circle suite 100 Tampa, Florida.
The criminals' web page is here: http://www.corporatesalesleads.com Tell them that they are breaking a number of laws, including but not limited to violating the Do-Not-Call List, use of automated telemarketing machines, illegal spoofing of phone numbers, and assorted laws regarding their giving false and misleading information in the scams they are running.
I called and confronted the sleeze bag, and mentioned that I was filing reports with the AGs of my state and Florida, but he offered to remove my number from the call list. I asked why I would believe anyone who'se already proven to be a fraud and criminal and a liar. He said he didn't appreciate being called a liar, and I responded that I didn't appreciate my phone service being stolen to used fo his scams. At that point he hung up.
I just recieved a call from 407 000 4712. I didn't answer the telephone. I am also on the do not call list. You can report them if you go to the do not call register on line.
