I never answer and have turned off my answering option. How do we make these calls stop?

I received this call on my cell phone today.  This is the message they left: Citicard calling regarding your private label retail account and to call them back @ 888-279-2426 Mon-Fri. 8a - 9p.  I have a private label retail acount?  I have absolutely no credit cards other than my prepaid card. No store ccredit cards or anything like that.

Calls about some certifed mail stuff. Im not expecting and packages

I purchased an ATT Go Phone (prepaid celluar service) in early May 2008 and apparently the number issued to my by ATT was previously owned by someone who owes a bad debt. I am receiving calls from 301-223-0036 for someone named April, who was probably the previous owner of my cell number and owes a debt to someone who is trying to collect.
I have advised on more than one occasion the 301-233-0036 caller of the fact that I'm not April, but apparently have her old cell number, but the calls keep coming. I don't answer then any longer, but it would be great if they stopped.

I keep receiving calls for this number, usually it's just a recording saying it's for me regarding a "personal business matter" and to please call them back. this last time, an actual person left me a message saying the same thing and to visit a website (certifiednotification.com i think?). they've been calling for weeks, and are driving me crazy.

This number keeps calling and calling saying they have a personal message for me, however, they never call my name, never leave a reference number and never leave a name of anyone for me to contact.  My cell phone number is on the national do not call list, but apparently that means nothing to them.  I have thought of blowing a whistle in the phone, but since it a recording, I doubt that woule have any effect.  How do I make the calls stop?

This is a collection agency located on Wells Ave in Needham Heights, MA. I Googled CCS Company. They are looking for someone who does not live at my address and have called before.

This happened twice. Each time on a Sunday with no message.
I am also registered on the do not call list.

My caller ID says the call came from "Unknown Name 301-223-0036." The message left on answering machine asking for Ken Weaver.
They referred me to a web site (www.forwardingnotice.com)and gave a file number (0701764886) but the when I went to the and entered the number number I get and error message that says the file number doesn't exist. They gave a phone number to call: 877-289-0302 to be removed from the call list. I called and (of course no one answers on the weekend) answering machine identified the business as "CCS."
I also received a call from "Receivablesperf" at 410-202-0027 also asking for Ken Weaver. I answered that call and asked to be removed from the call list. I told them that they had the wrong number and I wasn't that person nor did I know him.
She refused to listen and said she couldn't remove my number from their call  list.

I received 4 calls on my cell in the last two week from 301.223.0036, two times, five minutes apart and then two weeks later.  I haven't answered the calls and there is no message.

I have been getting repeated calls from 301 223.0036 and have informed them that I am not the party they are trying to reach.  The called do not stop.  I am going to find out how to place a harassing call complaint with the police.

I keep getting calls every other month from this number and they tell me to go to forwardingnotice.com with a claim number. In the past i ignored it because i had no idea what it was, but i got another message so I went to the website and i typed in the information and it did not let me continue because my claim number was not correct.... It's annoying.

Someones callied an left a message with this file number. Dont have a clue who it is.

This number keeps calling.  I'm not sure who it is.  They say they have a personal matter to discuss with me.

I get repeated calls from this number, about an important credit matter.  They leave a file number and a call back number, which I have dialed and entered the file # provided, only to receive a message that it is an invalid number. They don't have my full name, only my initial, and this is suspicious.  I have been getting the calls for weeks and I am tired of it, so I finally entered the website they referred e to on the recording, www.forwardingnotice.com, only to get the link to this website, so now more than ever, I am suspicious of these calls.

I get calls from this number as well.  I have credit cards, but they are all paid as agreed and I don't owe anyone any money.  They do ask for me by name (computer generated), but I don't answer the call.  I, too, am on the Do Not Call Registry.  Apparently they have a way around it.
