pain in the a**e called twice told him wasnt interested, and put the phone down, Hthe called back twice within the sace of 30 seconds, but i have caler id on my hone so never answered.

keeps calling i thought these calls were illegal.ignore calls.

a "debt management / claims" company when I insisted i wasn't interested in the offer he said "fine keep wasting your money" and slamed down the phone.

this phone keeps on calling, will not accept no for an answer, I want them held accountable for harrassement.

Called asking for the wrong person, then asked to speak to the owner of the landline - politely said not interested, and he just hung up.

Called asking for the wrong person for about the 100th time then just hangs up when i say wrong number. Same indian fella everytime.

Have had this number call several times (around the same time each day !!).

They don't want to say which company they are - numpties. So they've been reported both to the TPS who I'm registered with for each occasion they've called with the time and date together with a complaint to Ofcom.

However Ofcom don't investigate individual complaints so unless enough people complain they won't do anything about it. If enough people complain to both the TPS and Ofcom then hopefully (!) these numpties will get shutdown once and for all.

It was a call about galaxy finance they would not take no for an answer so i just gave them a large amount of verbal abuse..... They seemed to get the message.

Previously have had several calls from Crystal Debt on 08448466519. Even had a call one day where they assured me that they would remove my number and then later that day got another call and when asked why they were calling again when we had requested the number be removed got told that yes it was requested earlier in the day but "there is a glitch in the system"

Then today I have just had a call from Galaxy Finance on 08448466524. Phoned them back and eventually got put through to a supervisor called Hirshal. Asked him several times for either their address or company's house registration number and all he kept telling me is that "I am not authorised to do that" and that they are based in Leicester.

I requested that he put me through to someone who could and, conveniently, the manager was not available for about 1 hour. I also asked for details of the complaints procedure/contact information and again "I am not authorised to do that"

Hirshal did slip up by saying Crystal Debt, stopped himself and carried on with Galaxy Finance. He also admitted he was calling from a South East Asian call centre! I tried a slightly different tact of asking for either the name or building number of where he was calling from, stated that I did not want the street/town/country but again I got the not authorised line.

He has assured me that "I will not get any more calls from his company". I am just waiting for a call next week with a slightly different number 084484665xx and I will ask to speak with Hirshal and ask him to explain why his company has called me again!!!

Wonder what name/number they will call from next week/week after....

What I would really like to find out is who issues these phone numbers then we would have somewhere in the UK to complain to

this person has called me and called me and called me again and i think i know who it is. And he was asking for me and i mean im only 10.

this person is calling my grandaughter and she is 10yrs old what does he want with her because when i took the fone off her he hung up.

Called me repeatedly, after asking them to remove my details from their system he got abusive and sstated no he will just call me tomorrow and daily untill i agreed.

I found this childish act very very frustrating, so i gave him a very large amount of abuse, racial, sexual, you name it i must have gone on for about 10-20 minutes.

Strangly after that i havent had any calls for sometime now!! lmao

Just received another one of these calls - again, asking for someone who has never lived here (suspect it was previous owner of the phone NUMBER before we were assigned it in 2008).

I wrote this to Ofcom:


Several times in the past week this company has been calling - either silent calls (autodialer not connecting) or what sounds like an Indian call centre after several seconds.

They repeatedly ask for someone who has, to my knowledge, never lived here (perhaps previous owner of phone number before we were assigned it in 2008) - have also requested that we be removed from their system, but to no avail.

Most recent call was just now - 19:42 on Monday evening.

If questioned repeatedly, sometimes the caller discloses that they are either from Galaxy Finance or Crystal Debt Advisory. Once I was told they are based in Leicester.

We are TPS registered and have not solicited these calls.

Who in hell are Galaxy Finance and why have they called me no less than 111 times in the last 24 hours?

I have this number call me every day for months .. for a person who has never lived in my house ... I say wrong number so they called back asking for "owner of the number" GRRR
I have ever tried listening to their speech... Government debt management blah blah....
After what be the 100th time yesterday of them asking to delete my number yesterday I lost my rag and asked for a supervisor
i asked the company name sounded like national organic?????
I asked for my number to be deleted and he said he needed my name and address to correct the database mmmm didnt fall for that one .
He assured me number was on the No Contact list...

Well this morning the same piggin number but saying they are galaxy finance ..
asking for the same person ... GRRRR

WHO IS GALAXY FINANCE, THEY CALL EVERY DAY ,4TIMES A HOUR.  THEYNEVER TAKE NO  IAM NOT INTERESTED.

This company do not know when to give up.  Watch out, i think they are scammers!!!!!  They keep asking for a Paul Holland who does not live here and then persist to get our details - which of course we do not give.  Tonight we gave them a real grilling, galaxay finance can be found on google, but the link does not work.  When we finally spoke to a manager (if thats what they were) we asked for a website they gave us www.IVA.co.uk, this is a true website, but has nothing to do with galaxy finance.  NOTE - they said they are based in Leicester - when we call BT and gave them the number the guy rang it and said that the ring tone proved that this was not a number in england even though it had 0844 it was going to a country abroad!  I think that they want your details so that they can commit identity fraud!  Do not give them any detail not even your name.  Nothing can be done about these people as they are not in this country!  Once we started saying they were scammers and we would be contacting the police they were desperate to finish the call, but we would not let them get off the phone, we were asking them lots of differemt questions which confused them and i think they paniced.

Be warned - advise all your family and friends to be careful and not give out even their name!

Call from person asking for the owner of the phone line.....I replied "well, you have called me so you must know who it is".....at this they got jittery so I said, "ah, you must be trying to scam me....no problem I will just have to pass your number to the police"....and they hung up.....

Have got wise to them now and each time I see an 0844 number I simply answer "your call has been passed to the police fraud investigation team, can I have your name please"....and they quickly hang up!

Getting around 5/6 calls a day from this number started a few weeks ago saying they are from galaxy finance, I keep telling them I am not interested and I hang up, they then phone me straight back saying "you are having problems paying your loans" I keep telling them I'm not and to take my number off their list. I shall not be answering the phone to this number again!
