Silent caller, on picking up phone there is nothing or no one there!

They must be stopped!

no one ther when answered. rings several times a day,, can hear operators in background noise...

These scumbags have phoned a total of 134 times in the last month.
If ever I bother to answer, there's either nobody there, or occasionally someone offering a reduction in my monthly charge, but they always want my name, number, (even though they just phoned!), address, email. date of birth etc.
If this is really BT, they should have at least some of that info.
If you start to question them, they start to get rude and put the phone down.

Received a call at 20:50 tonight. No one was there, but I could hear the sound of call-centre activity in the background.

I've been getting an awful lot of robocalls lately (offering either reduced utility bills or help with loans/credit etc), but this is the first silent call I've had. I hope it's the last.

Getting regular phone calls throughout the day. If I don't recognise the number don't pick up especially a 0800 number. They have been calling me for over two weeks now. Total pain, they have to be stopped and reported, just seems BT have no control!!!!

WELL IT HASN'T GONE AWAY.  SAME NUMBER NOBODY ANSWERS.  My phone has several different ringtones.  All these nuisance callers now have a special ring so I don't even need to get off my chair to look.

We are currently getting 10 calls a day from this number.  When we make a mistake and answer it they claim they are from BT offering a different package.

Come on BT get your act together and sort these Companies out, 08009533008 in particular.

i too am sick and tired of these people. i have been getting 4 calls a day for past month,but today,a saturday,they have called 10 times between 08.00 and now 17.30. if i answer they claim to be from bt. i tell them i am with bt they then ask for my address and bank details... as if i am stupid enough to comply.

Cheesed off with this number continuously going day and night.  If I could get connected to above number, I will be phoning every 30 mins for the unforseeable future.  If I am lucky enough to get the name of caller, I will be passing information on to solicitors.
