i got 3 missed calls from this number and answered one it was a machine that cut off halfway through talking what the heck is it

I found another site where alot of people had received this call aswell.
Seems as though only Optus pre paid mobile people get this call so I am assuming that this is an optus number of some sought or could even be an optus hack.
No one has really been able to contact anyone on the other end and if they have it was a recorded message about some Optus special. All sounds rather dodge to me so just ignore it.
Sounds as though some one needs to check this out. Who really gets our information when we register ?
What a shame you cant spam numbers from calling your mobile like you can with emails. :-)
Ps. (02) is the area code for Sydney too I think !!!

Hey, i answered the call and i got a recorded message saying that it was optus and the turbo charge has changed etc. Then it said press 2 to hear message again, 3 to unsubscribe etc. I selected 3 and i haven't had a call since. So put your phone on loud so you hear it!

Hey.. uhh i just missed 2 calls from this number and so i tried to call it back (within 2mins of the missed calls) and it says "optus advises the number you have dialled is disconnected." Now thats just wierd!!

its just an optus automated msg, offering specials and crap. farking annoying but thems the breaks.

What da heck. thats weird. I got a miss call from this number just now. so i came online to check the area code so this number. seems like everyone has been called. i Guess its optus and there upcoming bu***hit. huh! i thought was someone from another state. haha

I've been getting call from this number but they leave no message on my answering machine, I refuse to call them back. Thanks all for this awesome web site know you've all confirmed that calling this number back is a waste of time :p
