not in the habbit of posting about people but she has completely wound me up !
called through claiming my details had been sent to her to list in google? alarm bells straightaway ! why ? to get my site on the search engines? me- what are you to do with google? we local online search engine consultants and run various different directories such as businessretriver ??? never heard of you or your company - phone goes down !
so im curious now - I take a look at their site - what a bloody joke ! we have been in business since 2004 ! hmmmmmm!! check the whois register and you will see that the domain was only registered in the name of David Ryder on the 28/08/2008 ! not quite 2004 is it now ! and look at their attempts of so called - SEO ! What an absolute joke ! their own site is fully written in flash with the domain not changing when each page is accessed , their site takes an age to load ! they mention nothing about how they achieve the rankings desired that get you on the search engines !!!
I am sick to death of taking sales calls from un-educated sales people trying to waffle and baffel us law abiding business owners into parting with our hard earned cash. Vertigo site solutions is just another example of how this market is and has headed - its the new time share quick buck - take your hard earned cash and do a very poor job. I have been stung by a firm back in 2003 called bo-mac if anyone recalls them??? again like vertigo site solutions seem to do - promised me all the world for 400 and delievered absolutely nothing other than total black hat SEO - I have now taken it upon myself to attend chichester Uni to do a course in design and creation a few years back ! this has made clear the understanding of how sites get into search engines and what keeps them up their- I suggest vertigo site solutions get themselves on this course ! this way they could hopefully salvage their name and reputation before it gets too late!

Yes also just received a call from this lot. Explained that we were call preference but got some very vague explanation about how we requested that they call them! Total rubbish. Usual nonsense over how they could optimise us on to Google first page.

I have just again been on the receiving end of this lot! Back last year I was swindled into trying them out for a year ! I got zero response from this and zero results ! They got my info from ufindus / customer street I already had this service with them - albeit more expensive than what vertigo site solutions charged me - but did me ok with what I had, I was lurved into them by these fantastic results promised all for £150 per year! money down the drain, my positions (since they butchered my site my husband is shouting)  were a lot worse and I lost my slot on ufindus because I cancelled ! complete waste of time, full of false promises and lies. Again just received a call from their cold calling people to tell me they can get me first on google - Im already with you I replied ! a very un-feasable excuse was made accomponied by a swift exit. How can they try and sell me something I already have ?? Dont waste your money or time steer clear.

Vertigo Site solutions called me - thought that i was dealing directly with google ! only when i got my receipt did i realise that they were not google ! the absolute cheek of them !! avoid vertigo site solutions they dont return your call and are not helpful

This company called me back in October 2009, they said they would optimise my site and refresh my website. After many follow up calls did they actually do something to my site, in December 2009. They updated the company details and my keywords. Still to date i am waiting for my website to be "Refreshed" with a new look. Now they dont answer my calls or follow up emails.
Not a professional company.

I have had many dealings with this outfit "vertigo Site (or should i say sh*te) solutions" after they cold called me claiming my details were passed over to them, foolishly i let the salesman (alex or alec) talk me into parting with £200 to get higher prominance on google and other results, as yet almost 7 months down the line i am still not found on the major search engines ! what does amuse me though is when you call up and you speak with one of their helpline staff the person that sold you the account is always on the phone or in a meeting, it sounds like its a circus driven business who have absolute no regard for their customers (and probably the poor sods they employ selling the service). Then around november an "ex employee " he claimed to be also did a cold call stint on me saying that the service that i have with them was a rip off and i could of actually installed the keytags (some jargon used) my self for free (should i have known how to do this) and he would correct their in-adequate work for £100 - well - he was told where to shove his £100 and I hurried him off the telephone. Why do I always fall victim to this kind of rogue selling. If its not business directories calling claiming to renew my subscription to a directory I didnt know i was involved with it people like vertigo site solutions selling me something that 1 - has not worked and 2 - i could of done my self for free aledgedly.!

I have just spoken to a rep from vertigo site solutions, they had optimised my site in the past and did a very good job with it. im now ranking at the top of google for my local searches. As a plumber in fareham im now appearing where i need to be and with the optimisation they built me a new website as my old one was absolute rubbish. this one is a start and it was FREE! check it out www.gandhplumbingservices.co.uk to be honest im happy with the service and would be happy to refer the business to anyone!

alec happens to be my account manager and is always available when i need assistance with keywords etc. everything that was promised from alec was been adhered too. i believe my experience with him and vertigo site solutions would lead me to reccomend his and their services to anyone who wants search enegine results.

i have to say i am totally bemused after reading these comments i have been a customer of vertigo for around 7 months and have never had a reason to doubt there ability to achieve exactly what i paid for. i have dealt with Alec and linizi within this time i found them both extremly helpful. it concerns me that people out there would want to effect these people in a adverse way i can say is shame on you people GET A LIFE

Michael rang - another ill educated telesales person from this company - they have called me loads of times already in the past year when I was already subscribed to their services and its always the same spiel - we have your details etc etc - YES that you have taken from my adverts on yell.com ! and they claim its a new entry once again and sound un-sure.
I will not be wasting any more money or time with you lot, and arent the comments above funny ! the complaints on here are all at different times and then 3 alledged  customers within the same day think to post great re-views about vertigo site solutions !  as if ! your just trying to cover up the negatives. try and resolve them instead of hiding them.

I went fo a job interview for this company, after walking into their sham of a call room with music playing loudly as people ring potential customers (also addressing them as bud) dressed like tramps, i decided that i defintaly didnt want to work for this company, not to mention i didnt have to fill out any aplication form or even get asked more than 2 quetions in my so-called interview. I told a person who i know who works there why i didnt want the job and i have been gettin phone calls off them telling me to ring them back and they are p****d off how i have been slagging the company off. Unbelivable, what type of company rings people up telling them they are p****d off with them because they refused a job from them.

Oh and when this messege board was put to them...wait for it... .these complaints are all people from rival companys trying to give vertigo solutuions a bad name hahaha

i have had many problems with this company and looking at this so have a lot of other people, reading these reviews its clear to see that the three good reviews are from within the company. first of all they are all on the same day unlike the bad reviews, secondly why would a happy customer get so defensive and start telling people who have had bad experiences with this company to "all get a life" and lastly....that link above for gandhplaumbing dosnt even exist

Vertig0 s@ite solutions took my money on April 2009 with empty promises of top 3 placings on Google searches.Just off the phone to them again for the sixth time this week.All is ok,though as Nic is going to call me back by 1 o clock.I shall phone Nic at 1.05 once they do not return my call for the fourth time this week.Noresults,not even listed,was for 5 days then vanished again.The utter lies this so called co. out with are quite laughable.Amazing place to work as anyone i ever wish to speak to is always out the office.AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE.

I parted with £700 up front for a guaranteed Top Listing on Google with 15 Keywords!
That was July 2009 - since than we do not even appear on the first 10 Pages of Google. Last week Lindsey called up in a so called Courtesy Call.In reality she had forgotten that absolutely no work had been done to our site - and more importantly she must have thought that I had forgotten too!!! After trying to control my mixed emotions (you wish you could reach through the telephone and strangle them on the other side!!) I had explained to her my concerns, and she assured me that she would rectify the matter!! Since then I have tried to reach her, or Alec seven times - and surprise surprise - they are either on another call, out of the office etc...
Another thing is that they never give out their surnames! Why? Are they worried someone might come looking for them? On the other hand I suppose Alec Brown could be a fake!!!
